Changes are coming to how Grimsby residents are billed for water and wastewater services starting in 2026. We’re moving to a fair, consistent, and easy-to-understand approach for everyone in our community.
The Town of Grimsby is excited to announce that Kirsten McCauley will be joining the Grimsby team as our new Director of Planning and Development, effective December 1, 2025. Kirsten comes to the role with a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to thoughtful, sustainable growth in our community.
To further support designated heritage property owners, and in addition to the existing Heritage Property Grant Program, the Town is introducing the Grimsby Heritage Property Tax Relief Program. This new initiative reflects Grimsby’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding its heritage assets and promoting the long-term conservation of culturally significant properties.
Mayor Jeff Jordan invites young artists to submit their original artwork for a chance to be featured on the 2025 Mayor’s Holiday Greeting Card Contest! Draw or paint what the holidays mean to you — from sparkling snowfalls to twinkling trees! Grimsby’s future Picassos are welcome to create something merry and bright that captures the spirit of the season.
The Grimsby Energy Summit, hosted by the Town of Grimsby in collaboration with Enbridge Gas, Grimsby Power Inc., Niagara Economic Development, and 360 Energy Inc., will bring together government leaders, industry executives, and innovators to explore the future of energy and its impact on business competitiveness.
Please be advised that the roadside work on Woolverton Road has been extended until 2:30 p.m. today and will be closed from Ridge Road W to Main Street W.
The Town of Grimsby recently hosted residents and partners to a workshop focused on growing and strengthening our urban tree canopy. This important session brought together experts, community members, and environmental leaders to explore how we can all contribute to successful, sustainable tree planting in our community – from understanding soil health to selecting the right species.
Please be advised that Woolverton Road will be closed from Ridge Road W to Main Street W on Tuesday, October 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30pm for roadside work.
The Town of Grimsby’s 2nd Annual Mayor’s Masters Tournament was a big hit on and off the course, and the Community spirit was in full swing! Held at Twenty Valley Golf & Country Club on June 25, 2025, the event brought community members, sponsors and local businesses together, to raise funds for several community providers and services.
The Town of Grimsby has extended the Heritage Property Grant Program application intake period to provide property owners more time to complete application requirements. Designated Property owners can apply for matching grants to help maintain heritage sites with funding up to $5,000 available.
