The Town is conducting its monthly technology maintenance activities beginning at 4:30 p.m. today, which includes our telephone system. This means phone lines may be unavailable for approximately one hour.
September 30th is the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day. It’s a day to reflect on the painful and lasting impacts of residential schools in Canada, to honour survivors, their families, and their communities, and it is an opportunity for residents, Town Staff, and Council to take part in the journey towards reconciliation.

After clarification from the Ministry, and consultation with the Town’s legal team, the Town will be amending the information made available on the website that is required for properties with heritage protections (Listed and Designated on the Register).
Town Council has progressed a major milestone in the Peach King Centre (PKC) Expansion and Renovation with the approval of the project’s schematic design. Town Council and Chief Administrative Officer, Sarah Kim, are pleased to announce that Harold Madi has accepted the position of Director of Planning and Building at the Town of Grimsby. The Town is excited to find a candidate who will not only meet the many demands of the Director of Planning and Building position, but will also be a key resource to our community, council, and staff. Harold will begin his tenure with the Town on September 5, 2023.
