Final property tax bills are being delivered to residents of the Town of Grimsby. To prepare for the possibility of a Canada Post strike, bills are being mailed earlier than usual.

Environment and Climate Change Canada is reporting a multi-day heat event starting Sunday at noon and is expected to continue until Tuesday evening (June 24).

• Overnight lows: 21–25°C, providing a little relief from the heat.

The Town of Grimsby, through its Economic Development Advisory Committee (GEDAC), is proud to announce the inaugural cohort of the Grimsby Business Ambassador Program (GBAP). This bold, volunteer-driven initiative is aimed at strengthening the local economy by leveraging the expertise, influence, and networks of distinguished business leaders within the community.

Starting Monday, June 2, 2025, Town crews will be conducting annual hydrant flushing as part of routine water main maintenance.

Due to a potential Canada Post disruption, the Town’s ability to send or receive mail – including tax and water bills, invoices, and other documents – will be impacted.

As we head into the first long weekend of the summer season, the Town of Grimsby wishes everyone a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable Victoria Day! Town facilities and services will have modified hours for the long weekend.

Throughout the month of May, changes will be made to school zones located within eight Community Safety Zones in Niagara Region in order to simplify signage and create an easier understanding for residents and drivers.
