What began as a night of celebration and collaboration has transformed into a gift of extraordinary impact for McNally House Hospice. The Town of Grimsby is pleased to announce a donation of $69,036.62 to McNally House Hospice, made possible through the success of the 2025 Grimsby Economic Gala.
The Niagara Region has announced that, effective January 1, 2026, recycling collection for non-eligible sources (NES) currently serviced by the Region will be discontinued. Residential recycling is not affected — residents should continue to set out their blue boxes as usual.
The Grimsby Public Art Gallery welcomed the creativity of our community’s young artists through the Mayor’s Holiday Card Contest; an initiative introduced by Mayor Jeff Jordan to inspire and celebrate youth art in Grimsby. This week, the Town proudly announced the 2025 contest winners, and one of these young artists have a chance to be featured on the 2025 Mayor’s Holiday Greeting Card!
At a Special Council Meeting on December 3, 2025, Grimsby Council received EMG Consulting’s review of the recent joint fire services pilot between Grimsby and Lincoln. After careful consideration, Council has accepted several recommendations to strengthen Grimsby’s fire services — including the key recommendation to conclude the shared Fire Chief agreement at this time.
