Just a friendly reminder that, in accordance with Bylaw 23-55, fireworks are not permitted in Grimsby this weekend.

Downtown Construction StoryWalk
As Downtown Grimsby undergoes an exciting transformation, the Town of Grimsby in collaboration with Downtown Grimsby and the Grimsby Chamber of Commerce invite residents and visitors to experience a family-friendly construction-themed StoryWalk.
From July 2 to August 28, 2026, people of all ages can explore downtown by following the pages of the storybook “Mighty, Mighty Construction Site” displayed at participating businesses. The StoryWalk provides a creative and interactive way for families to engage with the revitalization taking place around them, discover local businesses, and experience firsthand the community's vision for a vibrant and welcoming downtown!
Music In the Park
Music in the Park has had its schedule adjusted – and expanded! Every Thursday from July 23 to August 20 brings a new band to Coronation Park, keeping the great music, good vibes, and summer fun running all season long! Movies in the Park
Movies in the Park will be returning this summer! Join us in Coronation Park on August 7, 14, and 28 for family friendly screenings, starting at dusk. Bring your blankets, chairs, and snacks for some magical evenings under the stars!

Paint and Sip
Join artist Tarah Leanne Veerman of Paper Homes at the Grimsby Public Art Gallery on Friday, August 14 for Pain and Sip! With a glass of wine and fellow creatives, Tarah will lead you through illustrating a stunning 8 x 10 mountain sunset – no experience needed! Bring your friends for a laid-back night full of creativity, laughs, and good times.
For ages 19+. Event begins at 6 p.m. Registration fee is $55 (includes all supplies and one beverage).

Farmer’s Market
Set up as a “Home Grown” Market, our vendors grow their own product and take the time to answer all the questions of the shoppers at the market. The Grimsby Farmers' Market runs rain or shine every Thursday until October 8 from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. just outside of the Major Refrigeration Peach King Centre.
Make sure to stop by and help yourself to some delicious local, home grown produce!
GPAG Summer In the Studio
The Grimsby Public Art Gallery has officially opened registration for their Summer in the Studio Art Camps. Make a week with GPAG an essential part of your summertime plans with a line-up of epic program themes to choose from. Expand your skills and imagination, making exciting art projects in our studio with enough time for games and fun in the sun!

Comedy Night In Grimsby
Come down to Coronation Park each Wednesday this August for Comedy Night In Grimsby. Every Wednesday, a new comic will take stage alongside host David Green at 7 p.m. for a night full of laughs and entertainment.
Admission is free, and the comedy is family friendly!
*In the event of rain, the venue will be moved indoors to Station One Coffee House at 77 Main St. W*
Beginner Photography Workshop
Join us at the Grimsby Museum on Saturday August 8th from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. for a one-day Beginner Camera Workshop with photographer Darren Creighton. This one-day camera workshop is designed for anyone who wants to take greater control of their DSLR or Mirrorless camera. Participants will learn the fundamentals of exposure, including aperture, shutter speed, and how these settings work together to shape an image. We’ll also explore how to control depth of field and motion, along with practical tips and examples for composing stronger photographs and getting off auto mode!
Participants are asked to bring their own camera with batteries fully charged, as we will be practicing these techniques during the workshop.

Casa Shoreline Social
The annual Casa Shoreline Social is back once again to bring a day of good vibes on the water! Taking place at the Casablanca Waterfront Park on Saturday, August 22 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m., the day will feature local Grimsby on the Lake businesses, live music from Gwensalami, free giant game and mini putt, balloon twisting for the kids, and face painting for all ages.

Grimsby Start-Up Showcase
