Grimsby and Lincoln win national municipal collaboration award for Fire & Emergency Services pilot
Park Rd S between Highland Dr and Ridge Rd E will be closed to traffic daily from Tuesday, May 24, 2022 – Friday, June 3, 2022 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (excluding weekends, will reopen nightly).
Park Rd S between Highland Dr and Ridge Rd E will be closed to traffic Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (or until completion).
Temporary Road Closure: Ontario Street at CN Rail Crossing- May 2, 2022
Ontario Street at the CN Rail Grade Crossing will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic on Monday May 2, 2022 from 7am to Friday May 6 at 5pm for maintenance work to the CN crossing. Please refer to detour signage for alternate routes.

2022 Interim Tax Billing – Second Installment Due May 6, 2022
The Town of Grimsby has mailed the second 2022 Interim Tax Bills to all tax payers who are included on the Assessment Roll. The Assessment Roll is a public document that can be viewed at Town Hall during regular business hours.

The Niagara West Fire & Emergency Services (Grimsby & Lincoln Fire) in collaboration with the Niagara Regional Fire Chiefs Association (NRFCA) proudly launches a Volunteer Firefighter recruitment video. Eleven out of the twelve municipalities in Niagara have a group of dedicated and courageous residents who choose to volunteer their time to help make their community a safer place to live.
The Town of Grimsby is responsible for the control and maintenance of the Town’s roadways. We are therefore always mindful of any object (hockey/basketball nets and skateboard ramps) placed along the municipal road edge that could possibly cause an incident or accident involving pedestrians and/or vehicles.

Proposed Tax Payment Grace Period Supported by Committee of the Whole
On April 4th, 2022, Grimsby’s Committee of the Whole passed a resolution to amend the Town’s Tax Collection By-law 22-16.
