Canadian HR Reporter’s Leading HR Teams report, recognizes organizations that are breaking boundaries to move the HR profession forward, and the Town of Grimsby has been awarded the prestigious title of the Best HR Teams for Innovation in Canada.

Starting Monday, May 5, 2025, Town crews will be conducting annual hydrant flushing as part of routine water main maintenance. The affected areas are South of QEW from Elizabeth and Mountain Streets westerly to Grimsby/Stoney Creek boundary.

It is truly heartbreaking to hear that Harmony House Jewellers has been robbed again and our hearts go out to the owners and staff who work so hard to serve our community. Over the past few weeks, our community has experienced a troubling increase in criminal activity, including multiple robberies that have understandably caused concern and fear, and have shaken our sense of security.

Earth Day is almost here! And we want to show our planet some love. The Town is offering free garbage bags and gloves to residents who want to organize their own local clean-up efforts!

Announced this morning, Ontario is proposing to expand strong mayor powers to the heads of council in 169 municipalities, including Grimsby, effective May 1, 2025, to help deliver on provincial priorities, such as building more homes, transit and other infrastructure across Ontario.

The Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee (JAAC), a volunteer committee aimed to promote and regulate AODA initiatives within Niagara, representing the municipalities of Grimsby, Lincoln, West Lincoln, Pelham, Thorold, Niagara-on-the-Lake and Port Colborne, is proud to announce the launch of its new campaign: “Accessibility Matters Here.”
