The Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee (JAAC), a volunteer committee aimed to promote and regulate AODA initiatives within Niagara, representing the municipalities of Grimsby, Lincoln, West Lincoln, Pelham, Thorold, Niagara-on-the-Lake and Port Colborne, is proud to announce the launch of its new campaign: “Accessibility Matters Here.”

Starting Monday, April 14, 2025, Town crews will be conducting annual hydrant flushing as part of routine water main maintenance.

Heads up, Grimsby! Over the next few days, crews will begin repairing sidewalks across Town.

In response to the challenges posed by shifting U.S. tariffs, the Town of Grimsby, in collaboration with Niagara Region and the other 11 local municipalities, is encouraging residents to Shop, Support and Share Local. 

The large dog section at Steve McDonnell Park is open.  Maintenance is complete.      

The rainfall warning has ended, but our crews are still hard at work responding to the April 2 flooding. We're clearing storm sewers, catch basins, and debris to keep our community safe.

The Peach King Centre (PKC) is getting a major upgrade - and a new name! Local company, Major Refrigeration Ltd. has secured the naming rights to the PKC as part of the facility’s $36.7 million expansion and renovation.

Starting Monday, March 31, 2025, Town crews will be flushing all fire hydrants as part of our annual water main maintenance program.

1540 South Service Nominee Inc. is moving forward with its development at 1540 South Service Road (just west of Kelson Avenue North), with DeFaveri Construction Inc. as the contractor for the project. As part of the construction, new sanitary sewer, watermain, and roadworks will be installed along South Service Road at 1540 South Service Road.

Motorists and the general public are advised that Regional Road 81 (Main Street East) between Elm Street and 70 metres Southeast on Regional Road 81 (Main Street East) will be temporarily closed to through traffic on Thursday March 13, 2025 from 1 a.m. – 8 p.m.
