From May to September 2025, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) are conducting inspections in select areas of the Niagara Region, including the Town of Grimsby, as part of its ongoing Plum Pox Virus (PPV) Monitoring and Management Program.

Environment and Climate Change Canada is reporting a multi-day heat event starting Saturday, July 5, which is expected to continue until Sunday evening (July 6).

All phone services have been restored and are now operating normally.

We're currently experiencing a phone outage and are working with our provider to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Final property tax bills are being delivered to residents of the Town of Grimsby. To prepare for the possibility of a Canada Post strike, bills are being mailed earlier than usual.

Starting Monday, June 2, 2025, Town crews will be conducting annual hydrant flushing as part of routine water main maintenance.

Due to a potential Canada Post disruption, the Town’s ability to send or receive mail – including tax and water bills, invoices, and other documents – will be impacted.
