Each February, Ontarians celebrate Heritage Week, recognizing heritage in all its forms. This year, Heritage Week takes place from February 16–22. From the first Indigenous peoples who lived on and cared for these lands, to the European settlers who introduced distinctive architectural styles, technology, and innovation, to the many individuals and families who have since chosen to call Grimsby home - each has contributed traditions, cultures, and stories that continue to shape our community.

Interim tax bills are issued at 50% of last year’s total property tax amount (annual levy) and are payable in two installments: Friday, March 6, 2026 and Friday, May 1, 2026.

The Town of Grimsby is inviting residents, stakeholders, and community members to attend the second Public Information Centre (PIC) for the Town’s Transportation Master Plan (TMP), hosted jointly with the Official Plan Review. This Public Information Centre will provide an opportunity to learn about the project, review draft recommendations, ask questions, and share feedback.
The Town of Grimsby will be conducting snow removal in the downtown core to help keep roads, sidewalks, and parking areas safe and accessible for residents, businesses, and visitors.
