2026 Municipal Election Candidate and Advertiser Packages Now Available

The Candidate and Third Party Advertiser Information Packages for the 2026 Municipal Election are now available on the Town’s website.

Both packages can be accessed under “Election Resources and Forms”: www.grimsby.ca/town-hall/elections/election-resources-and-forms/

Candidates and Third Party Advertisers are encouraged to review their respective packages in advance of any scheduled appointments to ensure they are familiar with all requirements and expectations. Please note that original signatures are required where applicable.

Appointments for nomination and registration begin May 1 at 9 a.m. and can be booked in advance by contacting:

Reminder - Candidates Information Night! 

Those considering running in the 2026 Municipal Election are also invited to attend a Candidates Information Night hosted by the City of Welland for all Niagara municipalities. Grimsby staff will be available to answer Town-specific questions.
