Transportation Master Plan Available for 30-Day Public Review

The Town of Grimsby has completed the development of its Transportation Master Plan (TMP), a long-term strategy that will guide how the Town plans, designs, delivers, and maintains transportation infrastructure over the next 20+ years.

Developed in partnership with CIMA+, the Transportation Master Plan establishes a vision for a safe, connected, and sustainable transportation network that supports Grimsby's future growth while enhancing mobility for residents, businesses, and visitors.

The plan was informed through public engagement, technical studies, collaboration with key agencies and stakeholders, and coordination with the Town's Official Plan Review.

The Transportation Master Plan outlines:

  • A long-term vision for Grimsby's transportation network
  • Improvements for walking, cycling, transit, and roads
  • Strategies and policies to support future implementation
  • A coordinated approach to managing growth while improving safety, accessibility, and connectivity

The completed Transportation Master Plan is now available for a 30-day public review period.

Residents are encouraged to review the plan and share their feedback by August 10, 2026.

Project information is available in alternate formats upon request in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
