Water Meter Inspection Requirements
Property owners and/or tenants should regularly conduct visual inspections of the water meters that are attached to their home or business. Regular inspections will protect your home/building from possible flooding damage.
Regularly inspect for any dripping or leakage from the meter and the two connection nuts on either side of the meter.
If you observe a leak, report it to the Town’s Operation Centre at 905-945-9201.
Responsibility
The Town will maintain the meter and connection nuts only. All other leakage and repairs are the responsibility of the property owner.
