Grimsby Community Development Grant (GCDG) Program

The Grimsby Community Development Grant Program is intended to assist non-profit and charitable organizations by supporting community-based projects that seek to enhance the well-being of Grimsby residents. GCDG is a one-time pilot grant available for eligible projects for the 2023/2024 period ONLY. Conditions for eligibility are outlined in the Grimsby Community Development Grant Program Policy.  

Maximum Eligible Grant Request: 30% of project budget to a maximum of $100,000

Application Deadline: Friday, September 29, 2023 at 4:30 pm

The final award will depend on the scale of the project, the degree to which eligible applicants meet the assessment criteria and the number of applications received

Application Process:

1. Review the 2023 Applicant Guide to determine eligibility.
2. Submit a completed Application Form with details of the Project and Organization.
3. Submit a completed Project Budget.
4. Submit your organization’s two most recent Financial Statements (An audited Financial Statement is mandatory for requests greater than $30,000).
5. Submit the Organization’s constitution or governing by-law.

All applications must be emailed to communitydevelopmentgrant@grimsby.ca before the deadline for consideration.
