55+ Fitness Programs

Stay active, build strength, and connect with others through the Town of Grimsby’s 55+ fitness programs. Designed for a range of abilities and experience levels, our classes offer a welcoming group environment with modifications to help you move confidently at your own pace.

Programs are offered at the Major Refrigeration Peach King Centre (MRPKC) and other Town facilities.

Drop-In Fitness Classes

Our drop-in classes feature full-body workouts set to music and led by certified fitness instructors. Each class includes variations to support participants from beginner to advanced levels.

Participants can choose to register for a session or attend on a drop-in basis.

Current drop-in offerings may include:

  • Body Blast

  • Fitness Fusion

  • Fit Friday

Registered Fitness Programs

Registered programs provide structured workouts led by certified instructors, with many classes incorporating fitness equipment and specialized training formats.

Programs may include:

  • Sit n Get Fit

  • Fit Over 50

  • Line Dancing

  • Sit ’n Strictly Stretch

  • Zumba

  • Gentle Hatha Yoga

  • Pilates

  • Pilates/Yoga Flow

  • Strength, Tone & Balance

  • Pound Fitness

  • Women on Weights
