Youth Room | Free Youth Drop-In Space for Ages 12-18

Opening July 7^th

We're excited to announce the opening of the Youth Room on Tuesday, June 30! This new space has been created specifically for youth ages 12 to 18 and offers a welcoming environment to relax, connect, and have fun.

Whether you're looking for a place to connect with friends, meet new people, play games, study, work on projects, or simply spend time in a welcoming environment, the Youth Room offers something for everyone. Designed with youth in mind, the space encourages social connection, recreation, creativity, and personal growth.

The Youth Room provides a comfortable and inclusive atmosphere where youth can drop in, participate in activities, and enjoy a variety of amenities throughout the week. We look forward to creating a vibrant community space where young people can gather, explore new interests, build connections, and have fun.

Tuesdays and Thursdays
4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

July 7 – Opening Day
July 9 – Game Night
July 14 – Open Gym (Gym A, 6:00 p.m.)
July 16 – Trivia Night (Kahoot)
July 21 – Movie Night
July 23 – Open Drop-In
July 28 – Open Gym (Gym A, 6:00 p.m.)
July 30 – Open Drop-In

Participation

Staff may be present during operating hours to support activities and assist participants; however, the Youth Room is not a supervised program.

Amenities

To start, the Youth Room will feature:

Two TVs with Nintendo consoles
Free Wi-Fi
Pac-Man arcade game
Table tennis
Shuffleboard
Workspaces with power access (devices not provided)
Tables and chairs for board games, cards, studying, and collaboration

Registration Required

Although there is no cost to attend, all participants must be registered through ActiveNet before visiting.

Please note:

Registration is free and valid for one year.
A parent or guardian must complete the registration.
Participants will be checked in by staff upon arrival using their registration information.

What to Expect

The Youth Room is a drop-in space where youth can relax, socialize, and participate in a variety of activities. Participants are welcome to come and go throughout operating hours and enjoy the space at their own pace.

Cost

Access to the Youth Room is free.

Some future programs and activities, such as drop-in gym time or fitness programs, may have associated fees. More information will be provided as programming is introduced.
