Grimsby Chev Gymnasium

All users must adhere to the following rules at all times:

• Access is permitted only with a valid booking or program registration
• Indoor athletic footwear with non-marking soles and appropriate athletic attire (including shirts) are required
• No food is permitted in the gymnasium; water is allowed in sealed or spill-proof containers only
• Children under 14 years of age must be supervised by an adult at all times
• Equipment must be used only for its intended purpose; personal equipment requires staff approval
• Do not throw, strike, or kick balls toward walls, ceilings, lighting, or divider systems
• Climbing, hanging, or swinging on basketball rims, nets, walls, or padding is prohibited
• Chairs, strollers, bags, and personal belongings are not permitted on the gym floor
• Unsafe behaviour, aggressive conduct, or abusive language will not be tolerated
• Divider curtains may be operated by authorized staff only; activities must stop while curtains are in motion
• Activities must remain within the assigned court space when the gymnasium is divided
• Spectators are permitted only in designated viewing areas, where applicable
• In an emergency, follow staff instructions and keep emergency exits clear
• The Town is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property
• Pets are not permitted; service animals are permitted in accordance with accessibility legislation

Community Sport Organizations must meet specific governance, residency, and operational requirements under the Town's Gymnasium Allocation Policy. CSO status provides priority access during the bi-annual allocation process.

• Double Gym (Gym A + B): 61 m x 73 m (200 ft x 240 ft)
• Gym A: 30.5 m x 36.5 m (100 ft x 120 ft)
• Gym B: 30.5 m x 36.5 m (100 ft x 120 ft)

Please Note: Dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly depending on court configuration and divider setup.

Each single gym (Gym A or Gym B) is lined for 3 pickleball courts, 3 badminton courts, a high school basketball configuration, and 1 volleyball court.
