Environment Canada has issued a heat event for Niagara, beginning Thursday, July 24 through Friday, July 25. The extreme heat has a possibility to continue through the weekend for some areas.
The Town of Grimsby recognizes the important roles our local community groups, clubs, and organizations play in the well-being of Grimsby residents. As such, the Town is currently taking applications for two incredible programs: The Grimsby Community Development Grant Program (GCDG) and the Community Project Grant Program (CPGP).
Environment and Climate Change Canada are calling for a prolonged period of heat that started today and is expected to end by Wednesday evening (July 16) or possibly Thursday (July 17).
