The Town of Grimsby declares a Significant Weather Event. Due to substantial snowfall over the past 12 hours and expected accumulation in the next 12 hours, the Town of Grimsby has declared a Significant Weather Event, effective at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
Due to the ongoing Winter Storm Warning, the outdoor rink is closed, and public skating is canceled today. Many scheduled ice programs are also canceled – please check directly with your associations for updates.
Please note that the following Town facilities will be closed on Monday, February 17, 2025 in observance of the Family Day long weekend.

Due to significant snow accumulation and freezing rain expected over 24-hour period, the Town of Grimsby is declaring a Significant Weather Event effective 6:00 p.m. February 12, 2025.
2025 interim property tax bills are currently being issued by mail. Interim tax bills are calculated as 50% of the homeowner’s total property tax from the previous year and payments are due in two installments: Friday, March 7, 2025 and Friday, May 2, 2025.
