Interim tax bills are issued at 50% of last year’s total property tax amount (annual levy) and are payable in two installments: Friday, March 6, 2026 and Friday, May 1, 2026.

The Town of Grimsby invites residents to participate in the review of the Draft Official Plan. Two events have been scheduled: Thursday, February 12, 2026 (in person only) and Monday, February 23, 2026 (in person or virtually).

The Town of Grimsby is inviting residents, stakeholders, and community members to attend the second Public Information Centre (PIC) for the Town’s Transportation Master Plan (TMP), hosted jointly with the Official Plan Review. This Public Information Centre will provide an opportunity to learn about the project, review draft recommendations, ask questions, and share feedback.

The Town of Grimsby will be conducting snow removal in the downtown core to help keep roads, sidewalks, and parking areas safe and accessible for residents, businesses, and visitors.

February is Black History Month and the 2026 theme, “30 Years of Black History Month: Honouring Black Brilliance Across Generations — From Nation Builders to Tomorrow’s Visionaries,” invites us to celebrate the lasting contributions, creativity, and leadership of Black Canadians — past, present, and future.

Water and wastewater bills for the final portion of 2025 consumption have now been mailed. These bills cover usage up to December 31, 2025, and are being issued under the old billing structure. This marks the last bill you will receive under the old system.
