Remembrance Day 

Remembrance Day is a day for all Canadians to remember the men and women who served and sacrificed for our country. It is a day we encourage every individual, young and old, to pause, to give thanks and to remember.

Moment of Silence 

Residents are asked to step outside their homes at 11:00am on November 11th to share in two minutes of silence. 

2020 Poppy Campaign 

Every year, The Royal Canadian Legion conducts the Poppy Campaign, along with thousands of its members who volunteer from coast to coast to coast, to raise funds in support of Veterans and their families. Poppies are distributed freely, but generous donations are invaluable.Poppy boxes can be found in various public locations across Grimsby.
