April 2020

Kids and Me Yoga Animation

Saturday April 4th , 1:00 pm at the Grimsby Museum

Limited space. Pre-registration is required. Register online

This is a fun interpretation of yoga that mimics popular animated characters. Some poses include: Captain Sparrow, lion stretch, Tink, gummi bear, and magic carpet! Participants will practice KAMYA style yoga which focuses on self-expression and fun with family. The class also includes a guided meditation.

Children being dropped off must be at least 5 years of age and a Waiver form is required . If parents are staying for the entire duration of the programme no waiver form is required, however a ticket is required for each attending adult.

Refunds may be requested 7 days prior to event date. We are not able to issue refunds after this time period due to the cost of materials and event organization. All programs and events are subject to a minimum and maximum registration.

 Farmerette Talk

Thursday May 7th at 7:00 pm at the Grimsby Museum 

 

Limited seating. Pre-registration required. Register online

Join Authors Bonnie Sitter and Shirleyan English (former Farmerette, 1952, Thedford Camp 6) as they bring the Ontario Farm Service Force to life with stories and photos. Listen to how the program began, where the Farmerettes spent their summers, their work and their leisure time.

Their award nominated book titled, Onion Skins and Peach Fuzz:  Memories of Ontario Farmerettes will be available to purchase.

Pre-registration required. Refunds may be requested 72 hours prior to event date. We are not able to issue refunds after this time period due to the cost of materials and event organization.
