Pre-Consultation Meetings

Most planning applications first require a formal pre-consultation meeting with Town and Agency staff. Please contact the Planning Department for more information about these meetings.

Pre-consultation meetings are typically held the first and third Thursday of each month.

In most cases, a fee is required prior to scheduling a pre-consultation meeting. The cost of this fee will be deducted from the final application fee. However, if an application is not submitted, the pre-consultation fee is not refundable.

Applicants must also submit a completed pre-consultation request form and proposed concept plan in addition to this fee prior to a pre-consultation meeting being scheduled.

Planning Application Fees

Planning application fees are listed on Schedule L of the Town's Consolidated Fees and Charges By-law. This By-law is typically updated on a yearly basis. Please contact the Planning Department to obtain the most up-to-date fee schedule.
