Final Property Tax Bills Now Being Delivered

Final property tax bills are being delivered to residents of the Town of Grimsby. To prepare for the possibility of a Canada Post strike, bills are being mailed earlier than usual. Please note the due dates for the tax installments remain unchanged. They are:

• Friday, August 1, 2025
• Friday, October 3, 2025

In the event of a postal disruption, residents are encouraged to use one of the following  alternative options to ensure timely payment and avoid penalties or interest charges.

Alternative Payment Methods:

• Pre-authorized payment plans
  • Enroll in automatic payment plans for both water bills and property taxes. This is the most reliable way to ensure your payments are made on time, regardless of any mail delays.
• Banking options

• In-person payment
  • Visit us at 160 Livingston Avenue or use the secure drop box located at the same address.

We are actively monitoring the Canada Post situation and will provide further updates if mail service is affected. 

Customers with prior outstanding balances should contact taxes@grimsby.ca or call 905-945-9634 before making payment to obtain the total balance owing.
