Doors Open Grimsby |
Doors Open Grimsby is a yearly event that explores the hidden secrets of the Grimsby community. Discover our history and heritage in buildings you have never seen before, or see something new in the ones you have. Doors Open takes place the 3rd Saturday in September. Stay tuned for the offical 2019 event announcement. |
Culture Days |
Ontario Culture Days takes place every year on the last weekend in September featuring FREE cultural activities for all Ontarians. Stay tuned for details of Grimsby Events, held at the Grimsby Public Art Gallery and Library. |

Halloween Lantern Tours |
Get in the Halloween mood with a lantern lit evening full of stories about Grimsby's fascinating past. 2019 Dates to be annouced. |

Fantasy of Trees |
Enjoy a dazzling display of Christmas trees at the Grimsby Museum decorated by local community groups on November 23 to December 9, 2018. Buy raffle tickets for a chance to win your favourite tree. Hosted by the Rotary Club of Grimsby, all proceeds go to local charities. Check out Grimsby's Community Calendar for exact hours of operation. |
Christmas Tree Lighting Event |
Celebrate the start of the holiday season with the lighting Grimsby's new Town Tree outside Town Hall. The first annual tree lighting will take place on November 29th from 6-8pm with the tree lighting at 6:15. Refreshments will follow afterwards inside Town Hall. |

Holiday Shopping on Main Street |

Grimsby Santa Claus Parade |
The Grimsby Santa Claus Parade is the perfect kickoff to your holiday celebrations. It takes place the first Saturday in December, starting at 5:15 p.m. Starting at Town Hall, the parade travels down Livingston Avenue/Main Street to Ontario Street. |
Christmas Celebrations of Lights |

A family-friendly New Year Celebration with free indoor skating at the Peach King Centre Monday December 31, 2018, 3:00 – 6:00 p.m., sponsored by Tim Hortons, as well as outdoor skating, children's activities, food and snacks. |

Wayzgoose Bookarts Fair |
Celebrate book related arts – book binders, paper makers, private presses, printmakers, paper marblers, calligraphers, stamp carvers and MORE – at the Grimsby Public Art Gallery, Saturday, April 27, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Always the last Saturday in April. An Earth friendly celebration at the Peach King Centre to create awareness of the unique hawk migration in Niagara. There's something for the whole family. 2019 to be annouced. |
Grimsby Farmers' Market |
Set up as a “Home Grown” Market, our vendors grow their own product and take the time to answer all the questions of the shoppers at the market. The Grimsby Farmers' Market is set up each week on a portion of Main Street between Christie and Ontario streets, and runs rain or shine for the entire season. Every Thursday from the end of May until Thanksgiving weekend, 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. |

Dogs 4 Youth |
Dogs 4 Youth is a massive indoor pet marketplace with vendors from a wide variety of companies. This event promotes the positive impact that pet ownership can have on youth, as well as providing opportunities for animals from local rescues to find loving homes. Peach Bud Road Race |
10 K, 5 K, and 1 K race for kids. In support of the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation. For more information or to register for the race, visit Subaru Running Series. |
Grimsby's Annual Mutt Show |
A great family event held in Coronation Park each year. Fun contest categories, free registration and prizes. Presented by Grimsby Animal Hospital and Town of Grimsby. 2019 date to be annoucned. |
