Drop-In Programs

Stay active and have fun with a variety of recreational drop-in programs for all ages and skill levels. These flexible programs allow participants to join individual sessions without committing to a full program or season. Simply check the schedule, drop in, and play.
What to Expect

Flexible Participation: No registration required. Attend the sessions that work for you.

Recreational Play: Sessions are not instructor-led. Participants organize games and rotate play as needed.

First-Come, First-Served: Capacity limits apply for each session.

Equipment: Some equipment may be available, but participants are encouraged to bring their own (racquets, paddles, etc.).

Supervision: Children under 12 must be directly supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

Facility Rules: All gymnasium and facility rules must be followed while participating in drop-in programs.

Drop-In Rates (Per Visit)
- Adult: $5.50 + tax
- Student/Senior: $4.68 + tax
- Family: $8.85 + tax
Payment is processed at the Customer Service Desk at MRPKC. Debit or cash only. A wristband will be required to participate.
Basketball
Age: 16+ (Adult) & 12+ (Youth)
Capacity: 30 participants
Program Summary: Open gym recreational basketball where participants organize casual pick-up games in a welcoming environment. Players of all experience levels are encouraged to participate, whether new to the sport or simply looking for a casual game.
Volleyball
Age: 16+
Capacity: 30 participants
Program Summary: Recreational co-ed volleyball where games are self-organized in a fun and inclusive environment. Participants of all skill levels are welcome, including those who are new to the sport or looking for casual play.
Pickleball
Age: 16+
Capacity: 18 participants
Program Summary: Skill-level based pickleball sessions designed to support safe and enjoyable play. Beginner sessions are ideal for participants learning the game or looking for a slower paced environment, while advanced sessions are faster paced and intended for more experienced players. Personal paddles are encouraged.
Table Tennis
Age: 16+ (Adult) & 12+ (Youth)
Capacity: 16 participants
Program Summary: Recreational table tennis for players of all skill levels. Participants rotate through games as needed, creating a welcoming environment for both beginners and more experienced players. Personal paddles and balls are encouraged.
Badminton
Age: 16+
Capacity: 16 participants
Program Summary: Casual badminton sessions designed for recreational play. Courts rotate as needed, and players of all experience levels are welcome, from beginners to more experienced participants. Personal racquets and shuttlecocks are encouraged.
Family Pickleball
Age: All Ages
Capacity: 18 participants
Program Summary: Family-friendly pickleball designed for mixed ages and skill levels. This session provides a welcoming environment for families and participants who want to learn or enjoy the game together.
Motoring Munchkins
Age: 18 months - 5 years
Capacity: 15 participants
Program Summary: Unstructured active playtime for toddlers and preschoolers using plasma cars. Parent or guardian direct supervision is required at all times.
Family Multi-Sport
Age: 18 months - 5 years & 6 - 12 years
Capacity: 50 participants
Program Summary: Unstructured multi-sport play in a shared gymnasium space divided into two age-specific zones. Activities and equipment vary week to week to keep programming engaging and developmentally appropriate. Parent or guardian direct supervision is required.
