Victoria Day Weekend 2025 Holiday Hours

As we head into the first long weekend of the summer season, the Town of Grimsby wishes everyone a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable Victoria Day!

Town facilities and services will have modified hours for the long weekend. Please see below for details.

Grimsby Public Library

• Friday, May 16: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Saturday, May 17: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Sunday, May 18: Closed
• Monday, May 19: Closed

Grimsby Public Art Gallery

• Friday, May 16: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Saturday, May 17: 12 – 5 p.m.  
• Sunday, May 18: Closed
• Monday, May 19: Closed

The Grimsby Museum

• Friday, May 16: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Saturday, May 17: 12 – 4 p.m.  
• Sunday, May 18: Closed
• Monday, May 19: Closed

Livingston Activity Center – Customer Service Desk/ Office

• Monday, May 19: Closed

Peach King Centre

• The facility is permanently closed for the season

Town Operations Office

Victoria Day Weekend Fireworks Notice

Fireworks are permitted between dusk on Saturday, May 17, Sunday, May 18 or Monday, May 19, but must be completed no later than 11 p.m. 

Fireworks are not permitted in parks or any public spaces and must be discharged on private property.

Please ensure any fireworks used during the Victoria Day weekend are purchased from proper vendors.
