Upcoming Water Meter Replacement Program

The Town of Grimsby will soon begin a water meter replacement program, which will see approximately 2,100 aging water meters upgraded throughout the community. There is no cost to property owners for the replacement. 

The Town has contracted Neptune Technology Group to complete the meter exchanges. Water meters are owned by the Town of Grimsby and require periodic replacement to maintain accuracy and efficiency in the delivery of drinking water to residents and businesses. 

The meters selected for replacement are primarily older touchpad models currently read by Town staff using handheld devices. Property owners whose meters are scheduled for replacement will receive a letter in the mail from Neptune Technology Group in the coming weeks. This notification will include instructions on how to book an appointment.

Appointments will take approximately 30 to 90 minutes and will be available:

• Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
