Thunderstorm Warning: Orange Level Weather Alert
Environment Canada has issued an Orange Level Weather Alert for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain from this afternoon into the evening (September 2, 2026).
Hazards:
- Damaging winds with gusts in excess of 110 km/h possible. Quarter to ping pong ball size hail.
- Torrential downpours with local rainfall amounts up to 50 millimetres. Risk of a tornado.
