The Town of Grimsby is hosting a Free Tree Giveaway
The Town of Grimsby is hosting a free tree giveaway for Grimsby residents at the Town's Community Safety Day event. Supported by the Grimsby Green Advisory Committee Grimsby, residents are encouraged to bring home a tree and help grow a greener community!
Event Details:
- Join us on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Southward Park, 84 Mud St W, Grimsby, ON
Smaller stock trees will be provided on a "first come, first serve" basis on the day of the event. There is a limited quantity, please arrive early with your proof of residence to secure your tree.
Larger stock trees (2 or 3 gal) will be available for pre-registration up until April 30th at 12:00 p.m. Pre-register for larger stock trees here.

Important Notes:
- Your proof of address is required
- The trees must be planted on private property
