Gordon Rose Memorial Art Auction
A reminder that the Gordon Rose Memorial Art Auction is now open for bidding, with proceeds supporting the Grimsby Public Art Gallery.
Phil Rose, Gordon’s son, has generously organized this special auction featuring a selection of his late father’s original artwork. The collection includes works in watercolour, pastel, acrylic, scratchboard, and photography, with many pieces reflecting Gordon’s love of nature, animals, and the beauty of the world around him.

Turkey Trot
The Grimsby Turkey Trot, a family-friendly charity run, is coming to Casablanca Waterfront Park on Saturday, October 10 from 7:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Head down to the shoreline and run for Inclusion West Niagara to help empower people of all abilities to live, work and belong fully in our community. Your registration and donations fund inclusive programs, employment support and lifelong friendships right here in Niagara.

Woodland Pumpkin Pals Workshop
Get ready for Halloween at the Grimsby Public Art Gallery!
Kids ages 4–14 are invited to paint their own adorable woodland creature pumpkin on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Choose from a fox, raccoon or deer and bring your creativity to life!
Three timeslots are available:
2–3 p.m. | 4–5 p.m. | 6–7 p.m.
Ages: 4–14
Fee: $10
All materials are provided, and no carving is required. Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult. Participants can select their woodland creature and preferred timeslot when registering.

Spirits with Spirits
Join the Grimsby Museum and psychic medium Elaina Bahm for an evening of spirit connection, music, food and drinks!

As the sun sets, settle in for an outdoor screening of Monsters University, starting at dusk around 6:30 p.m.

St. Andrew's Graveyard Tour
Join the Grimsby Museum for a historical walking tour of St. Andrew’s Graveyard and discover the stories of the people and history connected to this historic graveyard.
Explore past residents, notable individuals, gravestone symbolism, and fascinating stories from Grimsby’s history. Tours are based on historical records and are presented respectfully. This is not a ghost tour and does not feature costumed actors.
Tour date is Wednesday, October 21 from 6 – 7 p.m. Intended for ages 14+, participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets at $16.95 per person, plus processing fees.

Coffee and Crafting Social
Join the Grimsby Public Art Gallery for the Coffee and Crafting Social on Wednesday, October 21 – with additional sessions available on November 18 and December 9!
Enjoy your own space to create and socialize. Come meet like-minded artsy folks and maybe even find inspiration to try a new hobby. Bring whatever you're working on, whether it's knitting, scrapbooking, sketching, or even colouring, and grab a free coffee or tea while you hang out with old friends or make some new ones!

Photography Exhibition Closing Celebration & “Buy & Sell” Event
Join us on Thursday, October 29, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Grimsby Museum to celebrate the closing of the Grimsby Photo Group’s 10th Anniversary Exhibition, Grimsby and the Niagara Region.
Enjoy complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages while taking one final look at more than 50 photographs celebrating our local community. Featured photographs will be available at special end-of-exhibition prices, and local photographers will also have cameras, lenses, tripods, and other gear available to buy or sell.
RSVP is strongly preferred as admission is by donation. While donations are not required, they are greatly appreciated and help us continue to offer great events like this.

Grimsby Glows Pumpkin Parade
The Rotary Club of Grimsby, in collaboration with the Town of Grimsby, is proud to present the Grimsby Glows Pumpkin Parade! We are inviting the citizens of Grimsby to walk the path in Coronation Park from Main St. to Elm St. on Sunday, November 1 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. (accessible start time at 4:45 p.m.) and view 300+ carved jack-o'-lanterns and more.
The Grimsby Glows Pumpkin Parade is a wonderful way to end the spooky season! Enjoy light refreshments and take selfies at our seasonal photo stations and Halloween displays.

A reminder to all residents that the municipal elections take place this October!
Election Day is officially Monday, October 26, with online voting open until then. Advance polls will be available Wednesday, October 14 from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Saturday, October 17 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. at the Major Refrigeration Peach King Centre.

The Town provides a wide range of services to our community while balancing affordability, infrastructure needs, growth and long-term planning. As we prepare the 2027 Budget, we want to hear from you about the services and priorities that matter most.
Complete the survey online or pick up a paper copy at Town Hall, the Major Refrigeration Peach King Centre, Grimsby Public Library, Grimsby Public Art Gallery or Grimsby Museum. You can also download and print a copy and return it to any of these locations.
