Revised Draft Official Plan Now Available on Let’s Talk Grimsby

The second draft of the Town’s Official Plan is now available for public review. To view the draft, visit: www.letstalkgrimsby.ca/officialplan

Since the release of the first draft in October 2025, the Town has received valuable input from residents, businesses, agencies, and stakeholders.

This second draft continues to:

• Align with the priorities of Council and the community, while conforming with provincial plans and policies
• Incorporate relevant policies from the Region’s Official Plan
• Improve readability and usability for all audiences
• Guide how Grimsby will grow and evolve over time

A Staff Recommendation Report, including the final proposed Official Plan, is anticipated for a future Council meeting, with the intent to return to Council in June 2026.
