Rainfall: Yellow Alert for Mar. 10, 2026

Environment Canada has issued a Yellow level warning for the Grimsby and the Niagara Region for heavy rainfall expected tonight (Tuesday, March 10th) and lasting through Wednesday.

Rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 mm are expected, with higher amounts possible in areas that receive thunderstorms. Water will likely pool on roads and low-lying areas. We advise residents to avoid low-lying areas, to not drive through flooded roadways, and to watch for washouts near rivers, creeks, and culverts.
