Niagara Gateway Tourism Information Centre Celebrates 25 Years of Welcoming Visitors
The Town of Grimsby is proud to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Niagara Gateway Tourism Information Centre and recognize its longstanding contribution to tourism in Grimsby and across Niagara.
The Centre officially opened its doors in September 2001 and has since welcomed and assisted millions of visitors, providing tourism information, recommendations and a warm introduction to the many attractions, businesses and experiences found throughout Niagara.
Located in Grimsby and informally known as the “first stop to the Niagara Region,” the Centre has become an important gateway for visitors arriving in Niagara and a valued partner in promoting our community as a place to visit, explore and experience.
Established as a not-for-profit organization and supported by dedicated local volunteers, community partners and supporters, the Centre has continued to evolve over its 25-year history. Its commitment to promoting Niagara tourism has also earned more than a dozen Marketing Awards of Excellence.
The Town of Grimsby is proud of its longstanding partnership with the Niagara Gateway Tourism Information Centre and recognizes the important role the Centre plays in supporting tourism, connecting visitors with local businesses and attractions, and showcasing everything Grimsby and Niagara have to offer.
Congratulations to the Niagara Gateway Tourism Information Centre, its staff, volunteers, partners and supporters on 25 years of welcoming visitors to our community and our region. We look forward to continuing this valued partnership for many years to come.
