The Town of Grimsby wishes everyone a safe and happy Labour Day weekend.
During this long weekend, Town facilities and services will have modified hours. Please see below for details.

Activities
Needle Felt Painting Workshop
Head over to the Grimsby Museum (6 Murray Street, Grimsby) this Saturday, August 30 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for a beginner-friendly Needle Felt Painting Workshop. This paid workshop is perfect for beginners and crafters of all skill levels and will guide you step-by-step in creating a scenic wool painting inspired by the beauty of Ontario’s rolling landscapes!
$46 per participant, pre-registration required – spots limited. Workshop for those ages 16 and up.

Movie Nights in the Park
Come on down to Coronation Park for the final Movie Night in the Park of the season! The final screening will be held Friday, September 12 at dusk (around 8:30 p.m.), showing the new live action Lilo and Stich movie. A huge thank you to the community for coming out to support this event throughout the summer months and making it such a huge success! We hope to see you all there!
LinkedIn Learning
As a reminder for residents, the Town of Grimsby, along with the Grimsby Public Library, offers free access to LinkedIn Learning, providing a vast library of high-quality courses to our community. All you need is a valid library card. With some extra time over the weekend, feel free to take advantage of some continuous education with access to thousands of video lead courses covering a diverse range of subjects including technology, business, creative arts, and personal development.
Reminders for residents
Firework Ban
By accordance with Bylaw 20-41, the use of fireworks are not prohibited. We ask the public to respect the fireworks ban and stay safe - one spark can lead to a fire and put others at risk!
Noise Levels
According to Grimsby's Noise By-Law, music and other noises should not be loud enough to be heard inside homes with windows closed. Please keep noise levels down to ensure everyone can enjoy their peace and quiet.
