Thank you for helping keep our community safe. It only takes one spark to start a fire and put people, property, and our natural spaces at risk. Have a safe and enjoyable long weekend!

Wishing our community a safe and happy Labour Day weekend!

GPAG New Exhibition – Opening Reception of Pressing Futures
You’re invited to the opening reception of Pressing Futures, a new solo exhibition by Studio Rat on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 2 p.m.
Pressing Futures explores the surprising possibilities of discarded plastic. Rather than throwing these materials away, Studio Rat collects, sorts, presses, layers, and transforms them into works of art—giving new life and meaning to materials that might otherwise be forgotten. At the heart of the exhibition is Lamination 1.0, a large-scale installation that stretches diagonally across the gallery and invites visitors to experience the work up close. Made from 3,600 handmade tiles and more than 70 pounds of reclaimed plastic packaging and sheet plastics, the installation brings together materials the artists collected over several years, along with contributions from community members.
Pressing Futures invites us to take a closer look at the materials we use every day and consider what they can become when we choose to hold on to them rather than throw them away.
Join us for the opening reception and be among the first to experience this unique and thought-provoking exhibition!
