Have Your Say on the Town of Grimsby’s Climate Action Plan

The Town of Grimsby is developing a Corporate Climate Action Plan, and residents are invited to share their input.

The Plan will serve as a roadmap to help the municipality reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve energy efficiency in municipal buildings and fleets, and prepare for the impacts of climate change. The Town has set a target to reduce corporate emissions by 30 per cent by 2035.

As part of this work, residents are encouraged to complete a short survey that explores priorities for local climate action, including:

• Preparing for extreme weather events
• Climate adaptation and risk reduction
• Municipal climate action priorities
• Transparent reporting and accountability

Community feedback will help guide decision-making and ensure the Plan reflects local values and needs.
