Grimsby ‘Teed Up’ another successful event at the 2nd Annual Mayor’s Masters Golf Tournament
The Town of Grimsby’s 2nd Annual Mayor’s Masters Tournament was a big hit on and off the course, and the Community spirit was in full swing! Held at Twenty Valley Golf & Country Club on June 25, 2025, the event brought community members, sponsors and local businesses together, to raise funds for several community providers and services.
Recipients of the 2nd Annual Mayor’s Masters Golf Tournament were awarded to United Way Niagara, McNally House Hospice and the YMCA of Niagara. This year’s tournament raised an astounding $25,874.01, making this year’s event a tremendous success.
From this total:
- $8,071.34 was donated to United Way Niagara
- $8,901.34 was donated to McNally House Hospice
- $8,901.34 was donated to YMCA of Niagara
About United Way Niagara:
United Way Niagara exists in our community to strengthen the social safety net and build capacity to support the most vulnerable. They play a vital role in addressing the interconnected issues of poverty, homelessness, food insecurity, isolation, mental health, and addiction.
About McNally House Hospice:
McNally House Hospice exists to provide compassionate palliative care to individuals and their families by offering exceptional clinical services, building a caring community and providing education in informed palliative care research. On average, McNally House cares for 120 community members each year. In January of 2025, the ground was broken on the McNally House Expansion. This new 10-bed house residence will increase McNally House’s capacity by 70%.
About YMCA of Niagara:
The Niagara West YMCA continues to be a vital hub for youth development, having served over 2,600 young people in the past year. This year alone, 610 individuals in Grimsby received a combined $76,565 in financial assistance, helping them access essential YMCA programs and services. The fundraising from the 2nd Annual Mayor’s Masters Tournament also allowed Niagara West YMCA to host Mayor’s Community Day on October 6, 2025, garnering 454 visits to the centre to enjoy free programs, family-friendly activities and moments of connection.
The success of the 2nd Annual Mayor’s Masters Tournament would not have been possible without the support of our esteemed sponsors.
