Gordon Rose Memorial Art Auction Support Grimsby Public Art Gallery

The community is invited to celebrate the life and work of local artist Gordon Rose while supporting the Grimsby Public Art Gallery through the Gordon Rose Memorial Art Auction.

Organized by Gordon’s son, Phil Rose, the online auction features a special collection of Gordon’s original artwork, with proceeds from the auction supporting the Grimsby Public Art Gallery. The collection includes works in watercolour, pastel, acrylic, scratchboard and photography, with many pieces inspired by Gordon’s love of nature, animals and the world around him.

A longtime Grimsby resident, community volunteer and former President of the Grimsby Lakeside Pump House Artists, Gordon left a lasting legacy through both his community service and his art.

Bidding is now open and closes Friday, November 6, 2026, at 5 p.m.

Thank you to Phil Rose for generously organizing this meaningful fundraiser and sharing his father’s artwork with the community.
