Downtown Reimagined Project Update – June 19, 2026

Construction mobilization for Downtown Reimagined is set for the week of June 22. This week, the project team updated the Town Council on project readiness, the community came out for Meet the Machines at the Grimsby Farmers' Market, and the full project staging plan is now available. Active construction on Elm Street is set to begin the week of July 6. 

What residents need to know now:  

• Pre-condition surveys (June 23): If you're in the work area and received a notice from dBA Services Inc., book your free appointment now. Call/text (905) 383-9491 or email pcs@dbaservices.ca. Spots fill fast.  

• Parking Changes: Temporary restrictions now in effect on the east side of Robinson St N between Main St E and John St. West side unchanged.  

• Project Staging Plan: The full order of construction is available at www.letstalkgrimsby.ca/drconstruction.
