Construction Update: Christie Parking Lot Access – November 4, 2026
Watermain construction is progressing along Christie Street towards Elizabeth Street. Crews will be working across the public parking lot entrance off Christie Street on Thursday, November 5, with impacts potentially continuing into Friday, November 6.
What to expect
- One lane of the parking lot entrance will be kept open, but access may be temporarily blocked at times as crews work across the entrance.
- When the entrance is blocked, drivers may need to queue and wait to enter or exit the parking lot.
- Traffic control personnel will be on site to direct vehicles and help manage access.
- Drivers are encouraged to use the Ontario Street entrance to access the parking lot where possible.
See graphic below for the impacted area.

This section of watermain work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the week.
