Application deadline extended to November 7 for the Heritage Property Grant Program
The Town of Grimsby has extended the Heritage Property Grant Program application intake period to provide property owners more time to complete application requirements.
Designated Property owners can apply for matching grants to help maintain heritage sites with funding up to $5,000 available.
The program offers matching grants for eligible restoration and maintenance projects. Grant recipients are expected to complete the funded work within 12 months. In the past, successful applicants have used the funding for projects such as exterior woodwork repairs, painting, slate roof repairs, porch restoration, and masonry repointing.
Grant Application Forms and supporting documents can be found on our website at: https://www.grimsby.ca/parks-recreation-and-culture/history-and-heritage/heritage-properties/
Applications are now due November 7, 2025 by 4:30 p.m. and can be submitted via mail (addressed to Heritage Planning at Town Hall - 160 Livingston Ave, Grimsby, ON L3M 0J5) or by email at heritage@grimsby.ca.
