2026 Community Grant Applications Now Open

The Town of Grimsby is investing in the people, projects, and organizations that help make our community stronger.

Applications are now open for two Community Grant Programs that support local initiatives designed to enhance the quality of life for Grimsby residents.

Whether you're launching a new community project, expanding an existing program, or creating opportunities that bring people together, these grants can help turn great ideas into reality.

Available Grant Programs

Community Project Grant Program (CPGP)

Provides funding to eligible community groups to develop and enhance programs that increase local participation.

• Maximum funding request: $5,000

Grimsby Community Development Grant Program (GCDG)

Supports non-profit and charitable organizations delivering community-based projects that enhance the well-being of Grimsby residents.

• Funding available for up to 30% of the total project budget, to a maximum of $100,000

• Application deadline: Sunday, October 4, 2026

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must:

• Be a resident of Grimsby or an organization based in Grimsby.
• Demonstrate a clear community benefit.
• Deliver projects that are inclusive and accessible.

Funding is limited, and applications will be evaluated based on the program's assessment criteria.
