Your art collection, at your fingertips!

Your art collection, at your fingertips!
GPAG On-line Catalogue, Education Portal and Art Rental

Art for the masses!  Both large and small art galleries are actively seeking to engage the public with their collections.  Galleries have become spaces where visitors of all ages are welcomed not only to exhibitions, but also to workshops and events that allow us to explore art and art-making on many levels.  Technology offers us a chance to interact with art beyond the parameters of exhibitions and the limitations of physical space.  Catalogues are moving online, and this is especially important for smaller galleries like the Grimsby Public Art Gallery (GPAG).

We are celebrating 40 years by looking back, at the formative years of the gallery and its holdings; as well as looking forward, to share and grow the collection in a digital age.  Access to the permanent collection has lagged because of practical limitations and we are eager to give the community ‘your art collection… at your fingertips!’

VOTE NOW to help the GPAG receive funding for this important project at: www.avivacommunityfund.org
