Program descriptions

Summer Reading Clubs take place in at the Grimsby Public Library July and August every year. Kids can drop in to report on books they have read throughout the summer. It takes just minutes to share a story they have read or heard with staff, get a small prize for each book, and enter our weekly raffle.

The following are other games and activities kids can try when they drop-in:

Junior Summer Reading Club (ages 2 to 6)

Read a book with your child at home, then they can fill out a page about it in the Junior Summer Reading Club booklet [Insert PDF]. Bring the finished pages to the Summer Reading Club desk to share with staff. Kids can report a maximum of 2 pages per visit. Complete all 10 pages and get a coupon for a cookie from 270 Bench Kitchen.
