  • Audible - For as long as schools are closed, we're open. Right now, kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids.All stories are free to stream on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet.

  • Forest of Reading - Every year kids and teens vote for their favourite ForestofReading nominees through their schools, but during COVID-19, everyone is at home, so the voting process is a little different. Anyone can now vote online, no registration required! Check out the titles in each category, read them at home (download many of the titles on hoopla digital or CloudLibrary) and go to their website to vote on your favourites,

  • Lego for Kids - Missing our Lego Create! program? Visit the Lego for Kids website for fun games and activities featuring your favourite building block.
  • Lunch Doodles with Mo Willems - 15 episodes and their downloadable activities are archived and accessible for free. Please tag your artwork on social media with #MoLunchDoodles so that everyone can see it!
  • Time Capsule from Long Creations - A downloadable COVID-19 time capsule template for kids.
  • But Why Podcast - But Why is a show led by you, kids! You ask the questions and we find the answers. It's a big interesting world out there. On But Why, we tackle topics large and small, about nature, words, even the end of the world.

  • PE with Joe - Popular daily workout videos for kids from The Body Coach 
  • Kids Help Phone - "Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only 24/7, national support service. We offer professional counselling, information and referrals and volunteer-led, text-based support to young people in both English and French."
  • Pathstone Mental Health - Mental health resources for kids and teens, including a 24/7 crisis hotline

Education and learning

  • Let's Talk Science Challenge - Designed as a STEM enrichment event for Grades 6, 7 and 8, the Let’s Talk Science Challenge Online runs from April 16 - June 4 and includes a weekly quiz show and an engineering challenge you can do at home. Join online anytime.
