ALERT: Interlibrary Loans have been reinstated at limited capacity.

Submit an Interlibrary Loan request

We are happy to announce that the Grimsby Town Council has supported additional funds to reinstate Interlibrary Loans at the Grimsby Public Library. However, the new delivery method via Canada Post is more expensive than the previous method. Therefore we are, for the time being, only accepting one request per week per person.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask by visiting or calling the library at 905-945-5142.

Interlibrary loan guidelines

Please be aware of the interlibrary loan guidelines below:

  • (NEW) Requests are limited to one per week per person
  • Please check the library catalogue to ensure we do not have the item you seek before submitting a request
  • Requests require a Grimsby Public Library card
  • Books published within the last year are generally not available
  • Interlibrary loans are usually renewable for a maximum of seven days
  • DVDs are not available
