If you’d like to have a chance to make a real impact, share your wealth of knowledge and ideas, and help shape the future of Grimsby, then you may want to consider joining our committees.

The Town of Grimsby is recruiting for the following Committees:

Grimsby Economic Development Advisory Committee (1 position):

  • GEDAC advises Council on Economic Development matters and promoting Economic Development in the Town of Grimsby.

Culture Advisory Committee (up to 3 positions):

  • The Culture Advisory Committee focuses on the advancement and advocation of culture experiences and resources in the community.

Age Friendly Advisory Committee (up to 4 positions, 55+):

  • The Age Friendly Advisory Committee provides recommendations to Council regarding a strategy and action plan to elevate the profile, level of leadership, and engagement of seniors in the community.

The Town has various Boards and Committees intended to provide a forum for public input so recommendations can be made to Council on issues within their defined areas of responsibility.

Commitment to these roles will be required until September 2026. Application deadline is November 10, 2023 at 4:30 p.m.
