Covid-19 Positive Case - December 2 2020

Please be advised that staff have been informed of a positive Covid-19 case from a patron that visited the Livingston Activity Centre facility on Wednesday, December 2.

Any staff or patrons that could be at an increased risk of exposure will be contacted directly by Niagara Region Public Health.  As part of Public Health privacy practices, specific details are not provided regarding the case, and the risk determinations are managed by the Public Health case manager.

We do ask that everyone give consideration to privacy at this time.  Our staff teams continue to work very hard to provide programs and services to the community that are consistent with the public health Covid-19 prevention guidance. We would like to again remind all patrons of the need to be very vigilant with our COVID-19 prevent measures:

•             If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, even mild symptoms, do not visit public facilities.

•             Maintain social distancing of at least 2 metres at all times, even if you are wearing a mask.

•             Wear a mask in all public areas and shared spaces at all times.

•             Wash your hands frequently, including when you arrive, when you leave and when you handle different materials.
