The Town of Grimsby Celebrates the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty The Queen Consort

On May 6, 2023, Canadians will celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty The Queen Consort. This historic event, the first coronation of a Canadian Head of State and Monarch in 7 decades, will allow communities to come together and highlight themes that both King Charles III and Canadians hold dear, including service, the environment and sustainability, and our nation’s diversity.

On behalf of Town of Grimsby, we affirm our loyalty to Canada’s new King, and offer him our full support.

In honour of the King’s coronation, the lights at Town Hall, the Museum, and Art Galley have been changed to emerald green.
