Gibson Street Pedestrian Bridge Opens

Grimsby, ON – The new Gibson Street Bridge is now open to the public.  Located on Gibson Street, approximately 70 metres west of Mountain Road, the bridge serves as an important link in the Bruce Trail network, creating the opportunity for pedestrians to cross the Forty Mile Creek.

The existing bridge was closed for public safety in 2020 due to the condition of the underlying steel. The Town retained the structural engineering firm Ellis Engineering...

The public meeting will be held as follows.

Council Celebrates Pride Month at Town Hall

Today marks the beginning of Pride Month, which celebrates the LGBTQ2+ community.

Throughout the month of June, communities around the world celebrate Pride Month in order to spread the message that no matter who you love or how you identify, you should feel safe, valued, equal and proud of who you are.

It is an honour for myself and Council to raise the Pride flag here at Town Hall to show that love is love, no matter who you are.
